Grab your exclusive 40th Anniversary Charbay Spirits SipScout kit and join us for an incredibly special night with distiller Marko Karakasevic. He comes from a long line of distillers, 13 generations in fact, and we’ll hear about his family’s journey going all the way back to Serbia through to his father founding Charbay Winery (and the eventual Distillery we’ll be visiting tonight) in 1983.
The kit even includes the very first spirit they made…a brandy distilled in 1983 and barrel aged for 27 years until it was bottled in 2005. A 40 year old spirit to commemorate their 40th anniversary sounds fitting, right?
If that wasn’t special enough, you’ll also be sampling a tequila Marko and his dad distilled down in Mexico with their friends, the Camerena family (of Tequila Tapatío and G4 fame). This tequila is not for sale anywhere today and, just for you, was pulled out of Marko’s private reserve to share with the 100 lucky guests who get their hands on this kit. We have a bottle ourselves at The Crafty Cask and have been hoarding it away for only the most special people in our lives…so you definitely want to get a taste of this!
Because of the rarity of these two spirits, there are only 100 kits available this month. Included along with this exquisite brandy and tequila are four other incredible spirits from the Charbay family. Ok, ok…here are the other four! Meyer Lemon Vodka, Green Tea Vodka, R5 Whiskey made from Bear Republic’s Racer 5 IPA, and Doubled and Twisted Whiskey—Suzanne’s all time favorite!
